Surya Grahan October 2023: Will there be Sutak time?

Sutak is observed for 12 hours before a solar eclipse and 9 hours before a lunar eclipse. It is advised not to visit temples or begin any significant task during Sutak.

Solar Eclipse October 2023: Where will it be visible?

The second and final solar eclipse of 2023 will occur on October 14, 2023, following the first one in April. This eclipse will be an annular solar eclipse, also known as the “Ring of Fire” eclipse, because the Moon will not completely cover the Sun, leaving a thin ring of light around it.

However, this eclipse will not be visible in India, as the path of the eclipse will not include the country. The eclipse will begin at 11:29 pm on October 14, 2023 (New Delhi) and end at 11:34 pm on October 14, 2023 (New Delhi), but it will be too dark to see anything. The eclipse will be visible from parts of North America, Central America, South America, and some islands in the Caribbean and Atlantic.
