The film “Animal,” directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has successfully surpassed the Rs 500 crore milestone at the domestic box office during its third weekend. Featuring a stellar cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri, the movie has also achieved an impressive worldwide gross of Rs 800 crore. Despite its initial success as an all-time blockbuster, “Animal” experienced a significant decline in earnings on its third Monday.

Early estimates suggest that on its eighth day in India, “Animal” is poised to earn Rs 5.50 crore nett across all languages. Despite this unexpected setback, the film will continue to captivate audiences until the releases of Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki” on December 21 and Prabhas’ “Salaar” on December 22, which are anticipated to dominate the box office.

The accomplishment of crossing the Rs 500 crore mark domestically and reaching an astounding Rs 800 crore worldwide is a remarkable achievement for “Animal.” Despite receiving mixed reviews and criticism for depicting misogyny and intense violence, the movie has won over audiences, as evidenced by its strong box office performance.

“Animal” also stands out as Ranbir Kapoor’s biggest career opener, portraying a compelling narrative centered around a father-son relationship. Ranbir’s character, deeply protective and obsessive about his father (played by Anil Kapoor), confronts anyone obstructing his love for his father. The 3-hour-21-minute-long film was released in five languages, namely Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
